Sharpened properly
Teeth come back with a real working edge and a consistent profile across the wheel, so the cut is even and the machine is not fighting itself.
Sharpening & parts
Chipper blades ground true on our own Chippermaster, stump-grinder teeth brought back to a working edge, and the consumables that stop a job kept on the shelf.

Blade sharpening
Chipper blades are ground on our Chippermaster knife grinder — back to the manufacturer's angle, with the edge the machine was designed around, and with both blades matched so the drum stays balanced.
That last bit is the one people skip. A pair of blades ground to slightly different lengths or angles will chip perfectly well and shake the machine to bits doing it.
Blunt blades cost money three ways: more fuel for the same wood, more strain on belts, bearings and the engine, and stringy chip that clogs and jams instead of flowing.

Teeth sharpening
Stump-grinder teeth do not fail all at once — they go round, and the machine quietly gets worse at its job while you get used to it.
Teeth come back with a real working edge and a consistent profile across the wheel, so the cut is even and the machine is not fighting itself.
Chipped carbide, rounded tips and short teeth are past sharpening. We will tell you which of yours are finished rather than grinding them for the sake of it.
Pockets, bolts and torque get looked at while the teeth are off. A sharp tooth in a worn pocket does not stay sharp for long.
Sharp teeth mean you grind more stump per tank, shake the machine about less, and stop burning time on a job that should already be finished.
Parts supply
The consumables that stop a job are the ones worth stocking, so they are here:
Anvils, pockets, bolts and the rest of it — ring and we will tell you what is on the shelf today rather than guess at it on a web page.
If it is not in stock we will get it in quickly, and if you are not sure which part you need, describe the machine. Getting that right first time is most of the job.
We supply parts for the major arb brands — Först, Timberwolf, GreenMech, FSI and more. Coverage, not a dealership.

Sharpening questions
No. Chipper blades are ground here at Unit 11 on our own Chippermaster knife grinder. Nothing goes in a box to a third party, which is why we can talk to you about the edge you are getting.
Ring before you set off and we will tell you what the bench looks like that day.
turnaround — to confirm
Sooner than most people do it. The tell-tales are stringy chip instead of clean chip, the machine bogging down in material it used to eat, more fuel for the same work, and extra vibration.
Running blunt blades does not just slow the job — it loads the bearings, the belts and the engine, so a sharpening bill turns into a repair bill.
Both, depending on what is left. Teeth with usable carbide come back with a proper working edge. Teeth that are chipped, rounded off or short are better replaced, and we will tell you which you are looking at rather than charging to grind something that is finished.
Blades, belts, bearings, filters and teeth are on the shelf at Unit 11, alongside Kubota, Sparex and Briggs & Stratton consumables. If we have not got it, we will get it in quickly.
